How to play Ghosted
Ghosted is a free gacha game about the modern job hunt. Pick your field (developer, designer, marketer, data analyst, project manager or accountant) and start applying. Every application is a pull: a random job post from a gloriously absurd company, and whatever happened next.
Most of the time you get ignored or rejected, just like real life. Rare cards are interviews you failed, epic cards are final rounds that never became an offer, and legendary cards mean you got hired: as a junior, with senior duties, at a third of the market rate. Collect an interview, a final and an offer from all 240 companies.
Every offer is also a pass to the top floor. Collect five and ride the elevator (with proper elevator music) up to the CEO. Answer three deeply pointless questions, and then it's 50/50: either a real offer, with a market salary, paid on time, and a holiday you can actually take, or a rejection for reasons only a CEO could come up with. Real offers go into a separate collection with a rank, so whoever has more wins.
Applications refill over time (one every 10 minutes, up to 30), and you can watch an optional ad for five more. Duplicates turn into experience, which, as in real life, is worth surprisingly little: ten experience buys one application.
Collect them all, share your worst (or best) pulls, and remember: it's not you, it's the market. Every company and character in the game is fictional.
